Back on the road and Autumn Marathon season continued with three fine performances at York Marathon. One of the UK’s top marathons, it offers great support but its own challenges with its undulating course around the villages surround York. Never-the-less we saw a pair of fantastic runs as both Jake Rice and Julie Holloway but a super summer of training to good use with some brilliant PB’s as Jake finished in 3:03:23 whilst Julie finished in 3:40:56.

With the typical surfaces covered we finish something a little different as Jo Campbell made good use of her holiday to take part in the Miami International Airport 5k. With a pair of out-and-backs the run was not just different for its unusual location but a truly unique atmosphere as the other runways of the airport continued to operate for planes land taking off throughout the race, before finishing off with a string of freebies and a huge medal!
