It was nearly all mid-week racing this week for the Harriers as a few small groups took on a variety of even both near and far as we travel down to the Cornwall to start as the Bulmers make the most of the summer holidays with at the Vale of Lanherne trail race. Bussed out to the coastal start the runners then make their way back along the trails to St Columb. Boasting its biggest turn out to date as the race grows the Bulmer ladies still shone with Young Holly taking the Junior win plus a 3rd in Age prize for Sally

Closer to home and four Harriers took part in another edition of the KMR with a 4 mile trail race at the Braithwell Butchers Dog Leg. Young Euan Carroll continued a fine run of form in the series as he took second on the night, adding to an impressive series of podiums in the series overall. Euan was joined by Chris Lawrence, Louise Morris and Ryan Brown as they also keep their nose in the game for the series competition, enjoying a pleasant evening on the trails, just dodging the inclement weather and back for the results and chip butties

On Friday Night, Nottinghamshire had is 10k county champs race at the Castle Rock Race, set in the university grounds. A challenging course with plenty of climbing not helped by another hot evening but an impressive run none-the-less by Nick Mould dipping under 45 minutes!

The sole weekend event for the Harriers saw the final match of the Northern League T&F up at Cleckheaton and though the Harriers have only had a limited squad for the series this year, the few in attendance put in some impressive performances to round off the series. Competing in 10 events the boys had 5 first place and 3 second place finishes between them, summarised below!
